Delivery Note


Delivery Notes allows you to create a detailed listing of materials delivered for a job.  It can also be used to create a note upon delivery of the job to confirm client acceptance of the materials delivered.



To create a delivery note for a new job:


1.  With the job selected on the job screen, click the blue Delivery Notes hyperlink at the top of the screen to open the Delivery Notes Browse screen.


2.  Click the button for the new message screen to appear:

3.  Enter the description & quantity of all items delivered on each line of the delivery note entry screen.

4.  When all details have been entered, click to save your input and remain on the entry screen or click to return to the delivery notes browse screen. Or click to exit the delivery notes screen (without saving your changes) and return to the job screen.


To change a delivery note:


1.  With the job selected on the job screen, click the blue Delivery Notes hyperlink at the top of the screen to open the Delivery Notes Browse screen.

2.  Any delivery notes that have previously been created will display by date..  Click on the blue delivery note number to enter the Delivery Note screen.

3.  Make changes to previously entered detail lines or add additional lines of detail.  If you need additional detail lines, click or reorder the lines by reassigning the line numbers.  To delete a line, select the box to the left of the line and click .

4.  When you have made all of your revisions, click to save your input and remain on the entry screen or click to return to the delivery notes browse screen.  Or click to exit the delivery notes screen (without saving your changes) and return to the job screen.


Additional Features:

You can also use the blue hyperlinks on the top of the screen for additional options:

Notes:  You will be able to add additional notes to the delivery order that are displayed in the message header.

Contact:  The delivery note contact will default to the designated estimate client contact   You may select any other active client contact that has been setup as a client contact by selecting the Contacts hyperlink on the top of the screen and the Change/Assign Delivery Note Contact hyperlink on the Delivery Note Contact screen.  To create a brand new delivery note contact, click , enter all contact details, and click to return to the Delivery Note Contact screen.  The new contact will appear in the list to be selected, and will be available for use on subsequent delivery notes for the client.

Export:  You are able to export the Delivery Note into multiple formats (pdf, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, RTF, CSV, and XML) by clicking the Export hyperlink to display the preview report and the export icon in the top left hand corner of the report display screen.

Preview: Allows you to review your Delivery Note on screen before printing.
