The Estimate Contacts screen will display the current estimate comments, as well as change or assign a new client contact for the estimate.
1. As soon as you have created a new estimate, you can display the Estimate Contact screen directly by clicking the blue Contact hyperlink at the top of the screen. If you have previously created an estimate, but want to review or change Estimate Contacts, access the Estimate Contact screen by selecting the "Production" menu, then "Search Estimates" and selecting the corresponding job number for the estimate. Once the estimates for the job have displayed, click on the Job No. field for the correct Estimate Version number to open the Estimate screen. Then click the Contact hyperlink at the top of the screen to open the Estimate Contact screen.
2. The Estimate Contact screen will display the name, title, email address, phone numbers, and address for the current client contact for the estimate.
3. To change the estimate contact, click the blue Change/Assign Estimate Contact hyperlink in the top right hand corner of the screen to display a full list of all client contacts for the client. To choose a different contact from the list, select the check box to the left of the desired contact's name and click to save your change. You will return automatically to the Estimate screen.
4. To change an estimate contact that has not been setup or displays in the contact list, click to open the Client Contact screen. Enter the contact details and click and the name will now appear in the Estimate Contact screen. Select the check box to the left of the new contact's name and click to save your change. You will return automatically to the Estimate screen.
When adding a new contact, you can designate that person as a Default Estimate Contact, Default Invoice Contact or Default Statement Contact. You can also inactive any contact by unselecting the check box next to .
